A 14k gold Victorian Black Coral Navette Ring with an elongated and slender cabochon. Set with a classic thin open shouldered band, the coral is housed in a closed back setting. It is in excellent condition with slight signs of wear.

This rare variety of coral is composed of conchiolin, a tougher substance than the traditional varieties. Coral is believed to provide a sense of calm reminiscent of the sea from which it originates. Found in Watertown, Connecticut.
