The Victorian Gold Seed Pearl, Diamond, and Emerald Ring

This 15 carat gold Victorian ring dated 1884 features four seed pearls framed by unusually mismatched gems. Stones set in diamond shaped settings. Scalloped Band.

Originally a pair of emeralds. At some point in its life one was replaced with a diamond oddly too large for the setting. It may have been a sentimental diamond. The gold foraged diamond shaped frame was widened to fit the diamond and can no longer be seen.
