Hand painted folK sunburst toleware box

Hand painted metal toleware box. A floral folk botanical design is intricately painted on each side in warm sunburst hues of brown and amber. A pair of birds frame the top. Outer paint has a nice patina and ware on corners.

The box itself is in excellent condition. Hinges and handle are in working order, lid closes flush, and the inside is free of patina, rust or markings. Does not have a key.
